This past Sunday members of the BMW Car Club of BC hopped over to Sannich Peninsula on Vancouver Island to visit a private BMW collection, and I tagged along.
I was already on the Island, since I figured that it costs me the same in ferry costs, I might as well make it a 2-days trip. I got to the ferry terminal to watch them unload, and then caught up to them on the side of the highway as they tried to regroup....
The rest of the drive was uneventful, so here are the pictures.
The ultra-rare MANUAL gear lever of a BMW E63 M6... yes the one with the V10 that BMW outright said does not work properly with the manual gearbox. So, unlike mine coveted 6MT, this is... unloved by the market. I spoke with the owner, though, and he knows what he is doing and is glad that the cost of entry for him was lower due to that.
I did return on the same ferry saling as some of them, though, so I grabbed a few more pictures on the boat.
